Born in India, Gujarat, in a religious Brahmin family, Ashesh Joshi, after years of seeking joind the Sri Aurobindo Ashram in Pondicherry and lived and studied there for 20 years, until he felt very strong and clear inner calling for sharing with the world what he had learned and experienced. He came out of the Ashram and joined Auroville in 2007. Here, after giving a series of lectures on Sri Aurobindo’s Yoga, he realised the need to use live and interactive mediums for the best result. That gave birth to his multimedia presentations and eventual Inner-Work-Workshops.
Over time, giving nearly 100 workshops at Auroville, he has introduced Sri Aurobindo’s Yoga to numerous seekers from all over the world. This is what gives him deepest fulfilment and this is what challenges him to learn and to grow.
His dream is to make the Integral Yoga and the guidance of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother accessible to all. Inner-Work-Workshops are a step towards this.
